Foreign Rain

Eavesdrops on the noise
Everyone pace & move
As the city takes its bath
I choose to drench…

Oh!
Calm cool breeze
Wraps with ease

A Strange lil kiss
Another subtle bliss

Sun reflects light
On a naked wet street
Gutter fountains spring
& Park grass sparkling

Spawn a new.
Rustling a few
Touches of drops
On foreign stops

I love this,

After Math of the Rain
And Moisture on my skin

For I can feel again,

My Monsoon in an unknown land!

Destiny Deceived ..or Not!

I am but a grain of sand
Slithering slow with my brothers

I was once free like my father
And his father before
From deepest desert and warm winds
I journey across... towards the mighty sea

It was there I joined my clan
Hearing all of the great stories and it's end

Of how, now man could built with us
Not only towers but castles and monuments too.

Or I heard of some who were tested
While only the purist resurrected
Baked out with the godly imagine
Of Ice which never melts – Glass

I longed for an eternity like that
Lasting time and weather too

Nay! I was only washed up
Cleared and shined
Even burnt by the sun

I was chosen from the millions around
As I knew I belonged to finest lot

Aye, I slip into this awaited abyss
Only Now…. to realize I am the keeper of Time!!!!

Life of a Leaf

Morning sun breeding light,
Kissing every part of this site.

It was among this I was to be born,
In between warm currents and cotton balls
I basked & glowed in my pride.
But it changed sooner than I thought,
As night came along with frost bit & snow
Cold Crispy Chill deafened my flow.

Then I limped away
Dragged by the whirling winds
Shoved into a corner beside nothingness

A Silver tint blazed about
Glowing as if showing me the way
I was cast away again,
But gentle I settled in
Calm collected I saw it was deep

As day broke,
I found I was being nudged along

But...
Rough tides forced me against my will
Then peaceful silence, I drifted thinking along
Its a trip to live up to,
The end would drawn on all of us soon.

Then why not caress this flight,
And jump of that cliff
Which beckon me to river bend.

..... And there I fell free
Finally Into the waterfall end!

As I drifted along the aqua ripples
thrust on me was a duty
A tiny 6-legged creature
thought I could save its life...

And so ,
The life of a leaf...
could save a little life..

This thought erased all my strife
Born a new story and a new sunrise.

CHASING RAINBOWS...

As a child, all I did was Imagine of what it would be to be a man.
As a man, all I did was re-live everything I missed as a child.

In my health all I did was drown my self in making riches
In my riches all I did was lose everything to re-gain my health

Why is it that I still chase the other sides of the same rainbow?
Or is it a vicious circle every man has to go through?
